Strategic Communication & Campaign Work
Greensboro Science Center Social Media Analysis
This project was created for my Public Relations & Social Media class. It includes an in-depth analysis of GSC’s current communication strategies across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The document features a SWOT analysis, key public and competitor insights, and an evaluation of GSC’s public relations efforts. It also outlines a detailed action plan with three strategic objectives: increasing social media reach, boosting awareness of conservation efforts, and driving ticket sales and program participation. The plan includes specific platform-based tactics and proposed metrics for evaluating success.
Auburn COSAM Media Kit
For this project, I created a comprehensive media kit created for Auburn University’s College of Sciences and Mathematics (COSAM). It includes detailed profiles of key executives, an overview of the college’s departments and achievements, and a fact sheet highlighting student demographics and success rates. The document also features a tailored media pitch aimed at promoting COSAM’s research and accomplishments to news outlets. Additionally, it provides sample social media posts, a three-week content strategy for platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and contact information to maintain communication with the college. The media kit is designed to enhance COSAM’s visibility and engagement across both traditional and digital media channels.
Aces Agency Final Campaign Proposal and Presentation
This is the final campaign proposal and presentation my group and I created for MH Outdoor Media as part of our semester-long capstone project. We spent four months working on it, and it’s by far the most realistic project I’ve had in college. I’m really proud of how it turned out—not just because of the quality of the work, but because it taught me how to work closely with a team and navigate challenges under pressure. The campaign book includes everything from stakeholder interviews and a SWOT analysis to a full social media audit and detailed strategy. We created goals, outlined measurable objectives, and built a multi-platform plan to help MH Outdoor grow their digital presence and brand awareness. It’s a great example of the kind of strategic, hands-on work I’m passionate about.
Digital Style & Design in Public Relations Messages
Project 3
For Project 3, we were challenged to explore the use of generative AI within the Adobe platform. Using Photoshop, I continued my Grillo’s Pickles and Dunkin’ Donuts collaboration concept to create a bold promotional image that brings this unexpected pairing to life. While the combination of pickles and coffee might raise eyebrows, that intrigue is exactly what makes the concept memorable. My goal was to craft a visual that sparks curiosity, invites conversation, and captures public attention through originality and creativity.
Project 2
For Project 2, I was tasked with integrating type and imagery using both Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. The assignment involved creating a graphic in Photoshop and then enhancing it in InDesign by adding thoughtfully placed text. My campaign centered around a unique and playful collaboration between Grillo’s Pickles and Dunkin’ Donuts. For this project, I designed a bold, billboard-style visual to promote the partnership, combining the distinct brand identities of both companies in a creative and eye-catching way.
Project 6
For project 6, I used Adobe Express to make social media graphics. At the start and end of every school year, the apartment complex 320 West Mag throws a star/end of the year pool party for its residents. As a resident of 320 West Mag and with the end of the school year approaching, I thought I would make an Instagram story and
Facebook post promoting the upcoming event. I did some research to figure out the brand colors 320 West Mag uses and did my best to incorporate their brand image into my designs.
Project 5
For Project 5, we were tasked with using an Adobe program to design a mini infographic. Since it’s no secret that I love pickles, I chose to create a vibrant, step-by-step guide on how to make homemade pickles using Adobe Express. My goal was to showcase a colorful and visually appealing process that makes preparing this fun snack both simple and enjoyable.
Involvement & Internship Experience
Throughout my time at Auburn, I completed several internships, held campus jobs, and was actively involved in student organizations. In this section, I share a closer look at my experience with The Oaks Agency—Auburn’s on-campus public relations firm—and my internship with Motherly Inc. If you’re interested in learning more about my most recent roles as a student employee at Auburn or my social media internship with JMG Public Relations, feel free to reach out to me directly.
Writing Samples & Research
In this section, I’ve included a selection of writing samples from past assignments and research projects. These include the written portion of my reporting final, a blog layout and sample created for my multimedia writing course, and a psychology research project I completed earlier in my academic journey. While the research project isn’t directly related to public relations, I chose to include it because it reflects my dedication, versatility, and passion for meaningful topics beyond my major.
