Adobe Creative Skills Badge: Social Media Content
For my Adobe Digital Academy assignment, I completed the Social Media Content Creation course. One key takeaway was the importance of personal branding—recognizing that a brand is more than just a logo or name; it reflects someone’s life work and passion, which is a powerful reminder to approach my own work with intention and care. The course emphasized being patient with social media growth and focusing on building genuine connections rather than chasing virality. It also highlighted that content strategy is more than just a calendar—it’s about having a purpose behind every post, using keywords effectively, and tailoring content to each platform. Overall, it reminded me of the fundamentals of social media and how to stay adaptable in a constantly evolving digital space. I also included my design that I submitted to receive the badge.
Google Analytics Certification
I recently completed the Google Analytics Certification test, which gave me a deeper understanding of how to track and analyze website data effectively. Through the course, I learned how to set up properties, interpret user behavior, and create custom reports to measure key performance indicators. It also helped me understand the importance of data-driven decision making and how insights from analytics can shape marketing strategies, improve user experience, and optimize campaign performance.
Learn HTML: Fundamentals Certification
While completing the Learn HTML: Fundamentals course on Codecademy, I gained a solid understanding of how to structure web pages using HTML. I learned how to use common tags to organize content, insert images and links, create lists, and build forms. The course also emphasized the importance of semantic HTML for accessibility and clean code, giving me a strong foundation for front-end web development.
Learn CSS: Introduction Certification
While completing the Learn CSS: Introduction course on Codecademy, I learned how to style and visually enhance web pages using CSS. I gained experience working with selectors, classes, and IDs to target HTML elements, and I explored how to adjust fonts, colors, spacing, and layout using the box model. The course also taught me how to organize CSS code effectively and use design principles to create clean, professional-looking websites.
Responsible Conduct of Research Certification
As part of my Public Relations Research course, I was required to complete the CITI Program Responsible Conduct of Research Certification, which displays the successful training in the ethical and professional standards required for conducting research.
